Paulding County School District to Establish Its Own Police Department Focused on School Safety
Paulding County, GA — The Paulding County (PCSD) Board of Education approved a resolution on May 19, 2026, to establish the Paulding County School District Police Department, a dedicated law enforcement agency focused exclusively on protecting the district’s 31,000 students, 4,000 staff, and campus visitors.

State Superintendent Richard Woods has named all five Paulding County School District high schools to the list of Advanced Placement (AP) Honor Schools for 2026, and all five high schools earned honors in both STEM categories.
